Due to the demise of such large industries as coal, steel, aluminium, tin plate Motor factors etc.,

Wales has had to diversify in tourists, even the farmers since the last foot and mouth have opened up their farms to the tourist industry...........

Welsh History Story - A Night to Remember”
Well it had to had to happen after a long dry spell, in the early hours of the morning the gale accompanied by heavy lashing rain woke me, I stay awake, listening to the rain beating down on the window pane with the howling gale swirling outside tossing the buckets and plants around.

This took me back to the 23rd of April 1947, I was just a small child then but this story will haunt me till the rest of my days.

Flood Warnings For Wales
It has been reported for this weekend, that flood alert warnings have been put in place around Wales by the Environment Agency.

North and Mid Wales are the areas most seriously affected. The Conwy Valley and the Upper Dee Valley from Llanuwchllyn to Llangollen including are in danger of floods

Welsh language Drive For Use Welsh Courts
A new push in Welsh Magistrates' Courts comes more than two years after similar protocol was introduced in Wales' Crown and County Courts.

The Magistrates' Courts in Wales are set to encourage parties to use the Welsh language in legal proceedings.

A new protocol has been launched to ensure that all court users know that it is their right to use the Welsh language in court. As provided for in the Welsh Language Act 1993, it is hoped the principle of equality for both the Welsh and English languages in Wales courts.
